SADLY THE VENUE FOR OUR BARRIE SHOW ON WEDNESDAY FELL THROUGH AND BECAUSE OF THIS WE HAVE HAD TO CANCEL THE SHOW.

SORRY GUYS, THIS IS THE SECOND VENUE TO FALL THROUGH IN A WEEK AND LOOKS LIKE WE WILL HAVE TO PLAY BARRIE ANOTHER TIME.

HOLY SHIT WE JUST HAD THE BEST WEEK OF OUR LIVES! Big ups to England for dominating the good vibes all around. Anti Flag in Colchester, The Peel show with The Plight, Kerrang Awards and Reading and fuckin Leeds! This shit was off the chain! I can’t thank everyone enough for coming out and partying with us as hard as they did. Also the huggest thanks to Mike Davies at BBC Radio 1 for having us back again on the Lock Up Stage again this year. So many amazing bands played that I think no one even left the tent. Mind blowing band of the weekend was Gaslight Anthem! Best dudes and an amazing live band. Everyone should make a point of checking this band out. If you like good music and good times, do your self a favour! I know they’re doing some stuff around england as i type this and ripping it up in north america with our homies Rise Against so dont sleep on that shit!
I also need to make the point of saying how blown away I was by Gallows and their set both nights. We’ve known these boys since we first came over to england and to see how theyve grown as a band and come up is so rad for us. They crushed both of their sets at Reading and Leeds and had sing alongs louder then I’ve heard in a long fuckin while. Proud of these dudes and cant wait for their new fuckin record!

Next piece of epicness we have for us Bats is our headlining run in Canada in September! If you haven’t heard its the bro down fest of the year with Johnny Truant and Black Lungs heading out west with us. I think these shows are going to be some next level parties so everyone should make sure they come out and get wicked to the max!

That’s it for me right now I’m off to play some drums with my homies in Black Lungs and hang out for another week in mother fuckin england! come out to those shows and say what’s up cus i will be chilling sweet at merch!

So we’ve just posted a ton of new tour dates. we finish up the Bullet for My Valentine / Bleeding Through Tour in a few weeks and head over to the UK to Play some shows with Anti-Flag and Black Lungs and then make our way to Ieperfest in Belgium and Leeds and Reading. we’re also back in Kingston UK at the Peel! we can’t wait to rock Kingston again!

Canadian tour! so we’ve added some warm up shows with our friends in Black Ships and the Ceremonial Snips. Also Be sure to come early and see Hardcore Warrior open up the St Catharine’s show! Our long awaited western half of the Hail Destroyer Tour is finally booked and we decided to bring Black Lungs with us again cuz Wade rules and they’re one of the best punk bands in canada right now. we also are bringing England’s filthiest metal band Johnny Truant for all you ragers who love it heavy.

This is quickly followed by a two month two of the UK and Europe with Funeral for a Friend , in case of fire and attack attack! we are very stoked for this and hope everyone comes out and makes this tour as much fun as our last european tour was!
This is capped off by a huge fest in wales called Hard Rock Hell which we are headlining the Metal Hammer/ Radio 1 stage alongside Truant, Hexes, the Plight and Cry for Silence. main stage features amazing bands like Black Label Society, Thin Lizzy, Clutch, Orange Goblin and Budgie!!

We are very very excited for the rest of the year, and all the amazing bands we are going to be touring with. This has been one of the best years being in Cancer Bats and we wanna thank all you guys for your amazing support.

expect some kick ass Canadian shows come christmas time!

YOOOOOOOOOOO! So here it is the new Cancer Bats web site! Pretty stoked and want to say big thanks to our homies at Doublenaut for doing a great job as usual!

Alot has happened since I last updated this shit. We put out a new record and toured a shit load. Huge thanks to everyone who came out on the east coast of Canada, the UK and all of Europe! Every show was a total mind blow and we had the best time ever! Portugal you win the award for “WORLDS BEST SHOW” congrats and keep up the good work! Right now we’re all chilling sweet in Toronto soaking up the sun shine and rollin deep on some serious bicycles!

This past weekend we played SCENE FEST and the best time ever! That fest gets better every year for us and I cant thank everyone enough who came out and made our set fucking incredible! So many sing alongs and circle pits that ruled my life! Sorry for crushing anyone with my stage dive…I was just excited. Can’t wait for next year, I wanna play that fest till I die.

Yesterday we played MTV which was dope! Again big ups to everyone that came out and hang out. Stuff like that can sometimes be weird for bands like us. So having familiar faces and everyone at MTV being hella rad makes for an awesome afternoon.

We’ve got some seriously wicked stuff coming up so keep checking back on the site for more updates. Also we have this cell phone hook up so we can txt all the time and talk tons of shit. Keep it real and enjoy the summer nights! -LC

Cancer Bats are confirmed to headline Radio One DJ DJ Daniel P Carters stage at this years Hard Rock Hell Festival (UK)

Radio One DJ Daniel P Carter has announced his own stage at this year’s Hard Rock Hell 2 Festival at Pontins, Prestatyn, and N.Wales on Dec 5th.

The Daniel P Carter stage promises to showcase the best new rock music around with sets from seven acts in total all of which are currently being championed by the DJ on his Radio One show and Cancer Bats have been chosen to headline this stage. The stage will also be sponsored by Metal Hammer magazine.

Acts confirmed to appear alongside Cancer Bats include Textures, Johnny Truant, The Ghost of a Thousand and new Visible Noize Records signings “The Plight” and Cry for Silence.

Hard Rock Hell booker Seven Webster also of 7pm management said “I spoke to Daniel at last year’s event and we spoke about him getting more involved with the festival so it is great to have him hosting his own stage and introducing a fresh edge to this year’s event with acts like the Cancer Bats, Textures and The Plight .

Other Acts playing this year’s event include Black Label Society, Thin Lizzy, Hawkwind, Clutch and The Wildhearts.

Hard Rock Hell also picked up the award for best Rock Festival of 07 at last week’s Golden Gods Awards after its first year proved to be such a massive success.
